Chris Bentley grew up in Ogden, Utah—a great old railroad town that’s reimagined itself as an outdoor recreation mecca—where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior. After spending some time as a White House intern, he completed a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Right after graduation, he started work with the U.S. Forest Service in the Portland, Oregon area. Currently he works as District Ranger in a small mountain town in southern Idaho. His most recent book, Moments of Joy, is available for purchase now.
